Knickerbocker Kitchen Remodel

This Austin kitchen remodel came with a deadline. The homeowners were planning a vacation and wanted their new kitchen ready to use upon their return. A kitchen remodel project that typically takes three weeks or more had to be completed in less than two.

Making this Austin kitchen remodel happen required preconstruction planning with the couple to nail down their choices on everything from paint colors to door pulls to position of electrical outlets. Cabinets were built ahead of time and their installation began the very afternoon demolition was completed.  Everything required proper coordination with our manager including countertops, pumbling, electrical, and painting.  Before appliances could be installed the grout and painting needed plenty of time to dry.

Every on our team worked the long hours necessary to meet the deadline, and the owners arrived home to a new kitchen.

We have been so pleased with the beautiful job Greg's crew has done. We have enjoyed our home being with family and friends in a comfortable environment. I especially have enjoyed my lovely, perfect and functional kitchen.I would also like to add: we have only ever done small remodeling jobs on our homes never a complete remodel and design. I was NOT looking forward to this project in any way!Greg Flenniken was such a huge help with his encouragement keeping me on schedule even when I was at my worst. Greg is a man of integrity and moral character. Bringing that to the table combined with his years of experience completes a beautiful home that brings years of enjoyment to the home owner.

Reading through the reviews I have to say I was surprised to read a negative response to how they were treated by Flynn Custom Homes (Greg). We all need to keep in mind our interactions go both ways and I can say through my experience I would put my money on Greg. We have owned several homes in several states and I have to say when we bought a new custom home from Greg in 2016, our experience was 5-Stars!!! Greg and his contracted crew is competent, honest, and an ethical builder! Just saying, great company!

I have worked with Greg two times in the past 15 years on remodel projects on my home. He was patient during the planning and budgeting process. He always answered calls, text or emails promptly and guided us through the project without any problems or frustrations. He and his crew were respectful of us, our home and even our pets.Even though we were out of town for most of our last remodel, he finished on time and on budget. I would recommend Flenn Custom Homes to anyone looking for a builder they can trust with the home if their dreams.

Flenn Custom Homes has remodeled two houses for me -- most recently a 2500 square foot home overlooking Lake Travis. Both times they did a great job, finished on time and within the budget.Greg is a perfectionist, and he takes personal responsibility for making sure the work is done to a high standard of quality. He was always available during the project if we had a question or request; and he promptly stopped by to discuss these with us. Greg also suggested several ways we could save money without sacrificing the features and design we wanted.We're delighted with our home and are planning to stay here a while; but if we're ever looking to remodel or build a new house, we'll call Greg Flenniken.
