Every year, the Austin chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) awards Contractor of the Year (CotY) awards for remodeling projects that stand out in the industry. Contractors from 5 counties in central Texas enter projects for the annual CotY awards. Judging is based on problem solving, functionality, aesthetics, craftsmanship, innovation, degree of difficulty, and entry presentation. In 2008, Flenn Homes received the gold on this project.
